"Worked at Standard Register for 5 years now. The company is trying to reinvent itself in a dying industry, and failing. The company is very top heavy with upper management with more "leaders" than people to lead. Some areas aren't bad to work in, but they have trouble retaining talent due to low salaries and the constant threat of layoffs."

"This is a dying company unless they are willing to invest the money to fix the problems. Two companies merging into one is going to cause some issues. The fact that it has been over a year since the beginning of the merger, and almost a year since the final merger and the systems of both companies still aren't operating on a single system has been disastrous for the customer, which is costing the company to lose revenue, and therefore lay people off, cut compensation plans, no raises and no 401K match."
