"The company is fine except that at the time they were in transition period since the President retired and there was change in upper management. Building and installations were fine. People were also nice, the company culture was good. The tools were also the right tools. The location was perfect."

"Need to stabilize management and integrate with parent companies quality system."

"Product been develop was meaningful, felt good been part of a company that produced a good health care product."

"Be prepared to submerge yourself in a real life survivor game, play a good game with careful with insightful instincts"

"Been a highly regulated business by a strong federal agency (FDA), there was little room for state of the art, everything has to be highly over-designed. In other words, excessive documentation for just about everything."

"Making sure the projects that brought in the bacon were addressed with higher priority and improve comm between the overall corporate structure."

"Desinging devices that are geared toward improving the quality of life of patients."

"Don't, at least not until they figure out a better management structure."

What don't you like about working at St. Jude Medical?

"Management and the lack thereof. There is no vision, and it is a high stress environment in which they don't really get it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more proactive in communicating what we need to do to fix the problem. Stop putting the onus on the employees and then when they make a suggestion criticize them with no solution."
