"Really low morale among the faculty. We never know what schedule to expect for any given day. We are told to go with the flow. Teachers are treated very badly. Students get away with cheating, sleeping in class, and not turning in work. Students cannot fail even if they turn in little to no work. Teachers feel helpless."
"Before you attend St. Gerard Catholic High School in San Antonio: Why do so many students, teachers, administrators and coaches leave and not come back? Is car dealer donor support helping athletic scholarships or academic scholarships? Is the cafeteria food as healthy as the other Catholic high schools? How does pay compare to other schools? Are teachers paid for extra work such as picking up lunch for school? What are average SAT scores? How many seniors passed college-dual credit last year? What are the results of an air and water quality environmental assessment?"
"The school has less than 90 students, even though it has no admission standards. 40% of students left last year and 50% of teachers and all the administration leadership and every coach. Why? Micromanagement and lack of respect by principal? Why does principal bring her own water? Why does she have a VIP rest room? Why do so few go to college? Why no real cafeteria, library, gym or dressing rooms? Why not spend donations on scholarships instead of poorly performing athletics? Look at the school. Is it safe?"
