"Needs strong management, strong game plan. Good potential going awry."
What do you like about working at SSF Imported Auto Parts?
"Autonomy, (limited) opportunity to make positive changes, fairly friendly coworkers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There is a tendency here for using out-of-date technologies and expertise. Study up on the *last* great thing, not necessarily the *next* one. At least that was true while I was there."
What don't you like about working at SSF Imported Auto Parts?
"Uncertain future of the company, problems go unresolved, management not working well at improving the company (too many hands in the pot, not enough getting done), revenues going steadily down. Some employees allowed to run rampant, working against change and growth with no oversight."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Don't be afraid to offer guidance, implement positive changes, confront counter-productive employees. Offer employees training opportunities- that might help those with a limited mind-set or skill-set who are against growth and change. Also those managers who don't feel confident enough to confront problem employees."
