"Upon hiring during the interview process I was offered position it turned out to be much different in the position mentioned. From the start it felt misleading and there was no room to move up."
"Squeeze Technology had no onsite engineers at the time. I was something of a trial case, to see whether the company was going to hire their own full-time engineers or continue working with part-timers and remote full-timers. My team consisted of myself(working remotely), a remote engineer in Poland, and the project manager. Overall, I was happy with the tasks and my team members. They were friendly, helpful, and professional, and I would be happy to work with them again. However, I'm under the impression that they were looking for somewhat more experienced in front end development, and once my contract ended, they informed me they would not be moving forward with my application. My one gripe is that neither the senior engineer nor the project manager offered any critique, critical or otherwise, once the project concluded. This was especially frustrating for me as I performed an additional two weeks of work, unpaid, trying to fix my unsatisfactory code. I can accept that I simply wasn't good enough for them. But it's aggravating that they aren't willing to tell me what I could have done better. The low scores I gave below are because most of these don't seem applicable to my experience at Squeeze Technology."
