"All private schools in Texas can choose to pay a teacher as they wish. But at Spring they will hire you and tell you that they have no money to spend so they lowball every employee. There is then no way to advance your salary unless you are willing to bow to their communist ways. They paid one teacher who walked out on them $10,000 more to come back but the teachers that try to stay and teach give no money for their teaching commitment to the students. Their pay does not fit the cost of living or their outlandish fees to be admitted to their schools. They will not spend money on any upgraded technology or the betterment of their school campuses, IE, air conditioning in Texas is a must. The school that I was at had a rat infestation and for months nothing was done. They also will not hire a true janitor, they have a full kitchen and will not hire any cooks. For a private school, these are needed in addition to well-paid, happy teachers to succeed in a great school environment."
