Spot Insurance Employee

"Micromanages beyond what I have ever experienced at a company. Has trainings that make absolutely no sense. For example, they will randomly put on your calendar that you have a training in 3 days, then care less if it cuts into your breaks. The trainings are usually them giving a lecture and later may or may not post a PowerPoint for you to look at about the meeting. That is what they call a training. Unrealistic goals and expectations for the department that management can't even meet. They change the rules on you so much, and threaten to fire you if you don't abide by them. Constantly has random meetings, they call for everyone to meet up on Zoom and demands you be on camera, 3-5 min notices. Also, will fire you without any warning if you do not do what they want, even if it is not in your job description. Uses “we are a start-up!” as an excuse to have terrible business practices, and unrealistic expectations of employees. They will use that a lot as a scapegoat, so be prepared. Please don't waste your time with this company, it will save you so much trauma and stress. Also, please keep record of all your communications with them, they like to have convenient “amnesia” about agreements that you may have had with them. Only communicate by email. Changes the rules up every other day and expects you to abide by them or else. They love to have convenient amnesia about things they have asked of employees or conversations that may have happened and or agreements. The love to play the “We are a start-up!” card as a reason to be unfair and increase workload."
