"Encourage teamwork among the software engineering group, where all engineers take part in the quality control process (code reviews)."

"FORMER EMPLOYEE- ONLY REVIEWED MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE FROM 1995-2004. THIS COMPANY WAS ONCE AT THE ZENITH OF TECHNOLOGY/PROCESS/PRODUCT/SALES/MARKETING CAPABILITY IN THE MARKETPLACE. ENDED AFTER THE CRASH OF 2000-2001. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN THE SAME SINCE.1995-2001- WAS CAREER HEAVEN BY ANY MEASURES."

"2002-2004 (MY DEPARTURE FROM SPEEDLINE) WAS A DISASTER, COMPANY WAS POORLY RUN, AND RAPIDLY LOSING MARKET SHARE. SADLY IT WAS FOCUSED ON LEVERAGED SHAREHOLDER CONCERNS, AND NOT ON ITS EMPLOYEES OR PRODUCTS. TOWARDS THE END OF MY TENURE, THE MANAGEMENT (CEO, R&D AND MARKETING ESPECIALLY) WERE ABYSMAL. ONCE COOKSON SOLD THIS COMPANY IT FLOUNDERED IN THE MARKETPLACE, AND LOST PACE TO ITS COMPETITORS."

"NONE THAT THEY WOULD CONSIDER USEFUL, AS THE MANAGEMENT THAT RUINED THIS COMPANY IS LONG GONE."
