Working at Southwest Key Programs in Tucson, AZ: 2 Employee Reviews

Southwest Key Programs Employee

"I’ve worked for Southwest Key Programs for 2 years. In my time at the program, I have seen many changes. The mission and vision of the program are great and make you want to return for the kids. The workload changes depending on the number of kids that are recurved. This is a large nonprofit organization that has shelters in Texas, Arizona, and California. The company was founded in Texas more than 30 years ago."

Southwest Key Programs Employee

"Southwest Key is a fun place to work if you enjoy working with children. Your duties as a youth care worker are to supervise and assist the minors. I really enjoy working with the youth and the efforts this program has done for them. But, the program at Tucson AZ can give Southwest Key Programs a bad rep. The program in Tucson is ran at a very unprofessional and unethical matter where supervisors do not follow policies, management look out for their favorite employees, and drama and competition is brutal. Management has no supervision of their employees, and employees engage in unethical activities with supervisors and even clients. Gossip thrives and supervisors use their power to mistreat their employees."
