"i have worked for Southern Produce, LLC, for several months as the Food Safety Manager and Produce Sales. Southern Produce in an important company in the sweet potato industry. At one time it was the largest produce market in the United States and provide the small town of Faison with many jobs and revenue. As times have changed the way the industry does business has changed and the company runs with fewer employees but still is very important. To be effective financially finding ways to be more profitable has changed the makeup of our company. Providing quality sweet potatoes to businesses throughout the world is what Southern Produce, LLC does and their quality and customer service is second to none. It truly is a diamond in the rough among many gems. Family owned and operated for many years until the untimely death of its owner a couple of years ago. Since then the company has been purchased and kept the Southern Produce names and operates under the same principles that for so many years made it a great company. Although some of the faces have changed, many still remain and carry out the same quality that has always been a part of this business. North Carolina sweet potatoes are the absolute best potatoes around.
