"The freedom to work at home or at my office in the museum. SIUC has a great campus to work on and is very beautiful."

"I don't like the parking areas. I don't like that I have to share an office."

"Working at Southern Illinois University has a great atmosphere and the work/life ratio is pretty well balanced. The office environments and settings are not the greatest but it gets the job done nonetheless. Some people are jerks but you get that wherever you go, but all in all a nice relaxed and friendly collegiate atmosphere."

In addition to gaining valuable experience that can be put on your resume, you also increase skills that you wouldn't think you would hone, like talking to others! Not to mention that you get access to some good references if you perform well."

"University Housing is a great place to work. My only experience is as a student worker and the management was very kind and accommodating when it came to respecting my priorities as a student. The atmosphere encourages learning and self motivation, and the offices are located in the newest most up-to-date building on campus."
