"Sony DADC was a fine place to work at. The teams are small so you get to know everybody pretty well. The schedules are flexible, so there is no one on top of you all the time. But the Project Manager and the BAs mean serious business. You're expected to work fast, efficient, and learn independently quickly. If you don't have the ability to learn with little to no help and expect someone to hold your hand, then this place is definitely not for you. If you can do that and finish your work when it's expected, then you should be fine."

"I would not recommend working for Sony DADC - either in the Marina or in Culver City, unless you can get in with the LOOT group. The Marina facility lacks any stable process or project management - continuously behind on their clients' expectations, while the Culver City location has been overlooked as a resource for growth since purchased from Sony Pictures. "I've worked for Sony DADC for almost a year. Its a nice company. I like to work in my team. Video Processing is very specific areay, which you can't get grasp right away. So that was challenging for me to learn. Other than that, I got my experience in Linux (deploying applications in linux environment), finding processes.Benefits were OK, it was a lot of bureaucracy to enroll in them."
