"My boss was wonderful at what he did. His boss was an idiot."

"Upper management was horrible. They had no clue about the industry. They got the job because they knew somebody who knew somebody who knew how to get promoted."

"Some of the work, lots of vacation, ability to work out of the house."

"Go anywhere else..."
What don't you like about working at Orange?
"Hostile management that only cares about itself. Also, they overwhelmingly lay off older workers. I was laid off, then they hired someone else the day after I signed an agreement saying I wouldn't sue. THEY ARE CROOKS...."

"Entirely new management."

"The ability to share knowledge and exchange information with clients regarding solutions to difficult problems. The satisfaction of taking a client live on ERP software and the clients excitiment of a working system that meets their needs."

"No. If you have the skillset and personality to do this type of job your reputation and abilty is usually known."
What don't you like about working at Corning Data Services?
"I wish I wasn't laid off due to the bad economy. I really liked working there."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I worked independently out of my home, traveling 100% out Monday and back Friday. I worked as the sole Company representative at the client and only spoke with my manager about three times in one year. No suggestions."

"Get everything in writing, do a ride-along, and make sure your values, ethics and goals align with your areas."

"I disliked mixed messages, inconsistent approaches, lack of marketplace knowledge (solutions specific), unrealistic expectations, and weak management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Overhaul! This company needs to separate their views of equipment sells and procedures from solutions sells. If they continue down their current path, IKON or RIKON will never accomplish their goals."

"Unmanagaed, lack of coaching, unreasonable expectations, too many products & territory is too large."

"Coach for success rather than coach when there is a problem."
