"As a QE developer you have opportunity to work on different technologies on different platforms. You will be acting as a first client to the product. You have to think in the ways how clients use product you are working on. The downside of it is hard to find a common framework to test functionality on different platform. You have to maintain multiple sets of test cases for each platform."
