"The review process can be hard, especially when I am not working on the position I have been hired for."

"There are a lot of politics in the review process. That's not healthy for the company in the long run."

"Never suggest things to the managers. They get offended by any comments."

"The company location in rainy city Redmond, Washington is not good."

"I like the good, hard-working, talented people. The service and support are wonderful."

"The job description often asks or requires more than the job need. However, at the interviews, interviewers only ask things related to what their teams specifically do, or what I need to hire for. A lot of things you can learn when you're on the job."
What don't you like about working at Microsoft?
"I don't like writing test cases, and test automation is no longer fitting my interests. I'd like designing, coding, analyzing bugs, and fixing code problems."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest simplifying their communications, their doc instructions and internal documents so that people can find help doc quickly (like Google search)."

"I like the good location, good compensation, and decent working conditions; this is about it."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Learn about Amazon core values - they are essential for passing interview loop. The professional part of the SDE interview can be very aggressive and concentrated on your ability to write real code. The interviewer will expect you to deliver correct code snippet for the given task."
What don't you like about working at Amazon?
"This position is a wrong place for me as a software developer. Work is very ad-hoc and poorly organized, without clear chain of command. There's a lot of support and little new development, and no growth perspective."
