"Firstly I love to code. The reason I love being a Software Developer is the challenges we face almost daily. It is the feel of making something and making it work. It is like giving life to something. The only thing I hate about Software Developer is that we don't like changes now and then. Basically micro management. We are not very fond of people who are not technical in the office."
"The challenges at a Fortune 100 company like Fidelity are considerable. The company customer base is very large, the impact of downtime huge and the importance to security paramount. Being a developer under those demands, makes it both a challenging and rewarding position."
"I love being a software developer as it provides chance to explore new technologies and play with them."
"I love the work and implement in good manner and gain good knowledge while I am working in this company."
"I love the ability to create something out of nothing! The ability to make cutting edge software and apps that users and customers can use."
"I love to start a project from the beginning and see how grows up. I hate when have to make changes to code that is not yours because always there is something that you did not know."
"I love finding innovative ways of providing a lot of functionality with a minimal amount of coding. I love building flexible applications that I can easily adapt to do whatever the customer decides they want. I love doing pragmatic software and database design. I used to like following a process but not so much these days because with modern development tools it can get in the way of getting things done. Oddly, I do not like coding that much and hate any coding that is repetitive. There are a few repetitive things I do without thinking (try-catch-finally, using) but I like to spend more time thinking about what I am going to do than actually doing it. I do not like having to learn third-party tools or add-ons that geek a lot of Programmers out. I am not particularly good with creating user-interfaces and despise the DataGridView control but that may be because I have never taken the time to figure it out. I do not particularly like having to sit at a desk for more than a few hours a day or working on the same code for more than a few hours. I like working individually because I do not have to get others onboard, compromise my design, and can change my approach on the fly. But, I also like working collaboratively because I do not have to make all the decisions on my own or take full responsibility for them so it is easier in some ways."
"When I first started my education as a developer in college in 2011 I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into. With my learnings that I have now I am thrilled with what I can do with technology. I love what I can create and it excites me for the future. I hate that us being developers spend such a vast number of hours sitting down each day, It's somewhat of an unhealthy life style."
"Finishing up my task on time."
"I love to code. I don't hate been a software developer."
"I enjoyed the work as a software developer."
"I am so glad to do this awesome job and I absolutely have no reasons to hate my work. I am happy to impress people and make creative things."
"I love to make things that the common people can use, and I hate the most part of the things I make is not for the common people (a contradiction)."
