"I began at Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) as Marketing Intern in 2017 and was converted to a full-time employees in 2019. SPJA is a 501c(3) nonprofit and has approximately 30 employees. Their main focus is on their three sub-events - Anime Expo, Project Anime, and World Cosplay Summit - which all teams work on year-round. Although hours and expectations can get a little muddy leading up to the convention in July, the team is very close-knit and committed to the company values and success of the company overall."
