Finally, I've been a Lab Instructor for the Scientific Computing course, and a recitation instructor and adjunct lecturer for Calculus."

"I've worked for SMU as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Lab Instructor, Recitation Instruction, and Adjunct Lecturer since 2009. My duties in this job have been mainly the duties a Graduate Student has in a Mathematics Department: lecturer and grader for Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Scientific Computing classes. In addition, I have to conduct research for my doctoral thesis. Overall, the experience has been a positive one, the responsibilities for his job are not taxing."

"Everyone needs to plan things so far in advance, and that is not my style. It's stiffling. Also, there are trust issues in my department and some integrity issues."

"I'd quit asking everyone to donate money. Also, I would ease up on the uber-planning and let people be a little more relaxed."

"Come for the free tuition but when you or your kids are done with college, move on."

"The amount of stress management puts on the shoulder of their employees. And they want everything done yesterday."
