"I worked for Smith Micro Software for 13 years. During my employment, I received many promotions from Senior Web Developer to Director of eCommerce. It was a great company to work for with many wonderful and talented employees. Sadly, poor income and revenue generation resulted in the company needing to make a hard business decision and reduce the number of staff members."

"A lot of smart and nice people. Good work/life balance but very little opportunity for growth. No salary increases since 2010. No bonuses. Future of company is very tenuous."

"I worked for Smith Micro from October 2002 to May 2014 with a 6 month break in 2007-08. It was a great run. I was able to work with smart, creative people on some very interesting projects.The one downside was the profitability of the company fluctuated greatly. The last 2 years the company lost money and there were three rounds of layoffs."

"The employees aren't treated very well and this is the reason that I'm looking elsewhere. I don't get paid well & upper management takes advantage of their employees (treats them as pawns)."
