"I wish not to state any opinion that may sway anyone from interviewing and assessing for themselves!"
"company that works in digital health/digital wellness."
"Great work environment, inability to progress in the company."
"This is a good company to work for with a very friendly workspace and everyone helps you if you are stuck in getting your job done but my manager treats contractors very differently compared to full time employees which I didn't like."
"Rampant favoritism and no accountability for store managers is a huge problem. District Manager claims to be neutral in all situations but fails to follow up with associate in question when a situation is brought to his or her attention, and takes the managers word for everything. Employees are made to feel like the store not meeting goal is 150% their fault no matter if there has been inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, like when the company botched and dropped the ball with a system upgrade that caused lasting negative effects, including and not limited to bad reviews and driving business away from the store. I STILL get people asking me about the system upgrade and if Home Delivery is still 8 weeks out. SP expected to make hundreds of cold calls a day on top of store operations and maintenance, customer service and breaks. Employees are often forced to work through lunches. There is no balance of work and personal life if you're not favored by your store manager. None. Zero. Employees are expected to give up days off or personal time at a moment's notice regardless of obligations, and are told that anything other than Sleep Number should and will take a back seat, including personal and romantic relationships. Looking out for your fellow employees and manager is met with being treated as a doormat, making you seen as someone to take advantage of. If you stay late or come in on a day off you are ALWAYS expected to do so without fail and without arguing."
"Sleep Number was in place at Fashion Island for many years, but during my employment time it was often at the bottom level of sales compared to the other 13 local stores they run. Initially I applied for the Mission Viejo Mall location, and suggested a relocation which they did take on, and which helped them become the number 1 local sales location. Despite that, based upon low sales levels and sky high rental fees at Fashion Island where I was working, they then shut down, and released us all"
