"I've been a manager for Skechers for awhile now and omg, I have never seen so much sexual harassment in my life! I have never seen upper management (district manager and regional manager) be so inappropriate and so judgmental on the physical appearance of employees. They call it Skechers appropriate but that really means they only want you to hire skinny beautiful large breasted women. The tall red headed manager loves to brag about how he cheats on his wife with the Arizona district manager."

"Problems Galore! Poor Management/Nepotism/Horrible HR. Watch Out! Good if you just need a job to get by."

What do you like about working at Skechers?

"Location near the beach. Nice building, kitchens, bathrooms. Good music playing throughout. Organizational structure and procedures are clearly defined and well organized. Everyone knew what their job was."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Watch out for the HR department, especially the heads of the department. They will lie to you regarding salary, they are difficult to work with regarding benefits, and they do not care about you as a human being. They are only concerned about the bottom line and are overly strict. They will not be bothered with your personal needs."

What don't you like about working at Skechers?

"NEPOTISM! There is a lot of the CEO/Company founder's family throughout the company who have been there a long time and will not be going anywhere. This makes it difficult to voice concerns/issues about these individuals. They have also risen to ranks where they must manage people, but do not have the ability to do so successfully. Horrible Upper Management who unfortunately have been with the company so long that they basically have tenure.Odd Dress CodeOffsite Parking"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Very poor management, particularly family members who have risen to the management level but are really not capable of managing people. I suggest to re-evaluate your manager's skills."

"It's past time for true professionalism to emerge at SKX."

What do you like about working at Skechers?

"Pride in product, design innovation, location, some management and co-workers. Lot of very smart people who know what to do to improve but are very scared to voice it."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do everything in your power to determine that your career goals and aspirations are possible and in line with direct supervisor expectations. Tremendous amount of potential exists with considerable numbers of highly talented employees."

What don't you like about working at Skechers?

"Lack of trust, respect, real professionalism, accountability and business ethics at Senior VP and mid-management level. Blame game - finger pointing dominates when things go wrong / mistakes made. Technical system applications severely degrade operational performance and integrity of business and it's past the point of impacting the bottom line..Have no idea as to the impact of what I do on a daily basis (number crunching)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Clearly define mission statement driven goals and objectives at all levels and instill accountability of those from Robert on down and across. Think outside the box and be open to change everywhere in the organization to increase revenue and reduce costs. Upgrade business applications immediately or face mediocrity for the next decade. Have more detailed surveys and have Senior management actually read the results."
