I was eventually offered a position as a senior Project Accountant, however I turned it down to join another construction company closer to home."

"Ask about the type and composition of current work on the books and marketing strategy going forward. Stress communication,teaming and leadership skills"

What don't you like about working at Skanska?

"Corporate policies one size fits all. Poor Sr. management planning on economic downturn. Lack of opportunities for business development efforts of Sr. Project staff"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Must take in to consideration changing local market conditions when setting profit goals. Review corporate overhead and company wide mandates as ways to improve profit margins. Get Sr, project personnel involved in Business Development not just VP's and Account managers"
