"I worked for Siteworx for 3 years. It was a great place and the reason I left is because the compensation wasn't competitive and I had run out of career growth opportunities.I absolutely loved everything else about the company, but I just couldn't overlook their two key flaws anymore, so I had to leave."
"Though I worked for Siteworx for only 6 months, I found the people there to be very talented and dedicated to their work. The environment is collaborative and friendly. They also are telecommuting-friendly. Unfortunately, the project I was working on was cancelled, and there was no more work for me, so I had to move on. If I could go back there, I would!"
"I wish I knew what I was getting into before I started. Lucky you do now."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If in UX know AI and how to work in waterfall for requirements and functional specs. If in VX know how to spend hours tweaking Photoshop comps again and again fro every single client suggested change. If in Dev know .net and some CMS's, at the very least also have good js skills. Also be ready to not do any optimization for performance or UX and to be making Pixel Perfect your life."
What don't you like about working at Siteworx?
"UX, VX, and Dev never worked together and never had collaborative projects or billable hours at the same time. All Project were done in a waterfall fashion with Development happening last, after UX and VX may have gone over their contracted billable hours, forcing less time and flexibility in changes and execution from development. In Direct opposition with agile, and the parallel iterative design processes that the company wanted to move to."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Try to actually build the processes in to contracts from the beginning and don't give developers executing all the work the short end of the stick in both time and money. Also Management actually actively fulfilling their responsibility to find employees billable hours would help morale immensely."
