"I have worked at Sinclair Community College for almost two years, and although I have found that management is very supportive of new ideas and encourages innovation, my coworkers are so resistant to these changes that I have not been able to implement changes. So, although management is supportive, I have found that willilngness to step in and mediate between employees in favor of innovation is just not there.Overall, a good environment to work in if you're happy with the status quo."
"While Sinclair is a leading resource for excellent low-cost education, it uses a very large percentage of adjuncts to educate it's students, then offer not only very little in compensation, but no benefits, and no input. Adjuncts fear to even say they are displeased, as they know there will be retribution. There is a disparity and classism between many of the full-time tenured professors and their equally qualified and educated adjuncts. Adjuncts are truly second class citizens."
