"Cult of youth because younger people work cheaply. Older employees or sick people will be forced out. Illness is openly considered weakness; my manager told me so when I told him I had a serious illness requiring treatment. They say they will "work with you," but in truth they only push you to the point of quitting or being fired. Upper management is arrogant, ignoring the advice of the very people they hire to help them. They are also indecisive and important decisions like trade show attendance, marketing and pricing are done at the last possible minute and then in substandard manner. As a culture they have numerous which are blame shifting exercises because something big is always going wrong based on management’s poor, postponed and weak decisions. As an Indian-based company whose majority business is in the USA, ironically most of the senior execs spend more time in India than stateside and are either culturally or willfully ignorant of the needs of its largest market segment. They reinvent the wheel with every client, not charging standard pricing but as much as possible. The culture is Orwellian; new recruits are encouraged to log onto boards like this one and post affirmations of how much they love Simeio. Your best Simeio day will be the day you were fired or left on your own."
