"If I could give 0 stars I would. $16.43 an hour is not enough for the constant stress/workload. I'm going to be as completely translucent as I can, because since leaving, I feel like a normal human being again, and I no longer have to deal with the negativity I was faced while working there. For the first 4 MONTHS working there, I was scanning old documents from 2010 instead of being trained on things that actually applied to my job description. Once I was finally trained (end of Month 4), it was sped through and I was expected to know how to do things in a short amount of time. I never knew what mood the director would be in, as it was constantly changing. I felt embarrassed asking questions because it always seemed I would bother them asking those questions. Eventually I gave up asking. Calling out is frowned upon, even if you are severely sick with a Drs note. People act like they're your friend but in reality they are only out for themselves. I remember breaking down at my desk because of how much was expected of me when I was getting things constantly sent back for not being able to understand things. It built up over time and I just crashed and burned. I began to lose confidence and questioned my self worth, job, and time. I began searching for different jobs and luckily I was able to find a place where I belong. Siena says they have an "inclusive community" and they focus on "Christian and Franciscan values" but those so called "values" were nowhere to be seen on the 3rd floor of the building I worked in. It is a shame because I really tried my hardest to acclimate and succeed, but when you have a director that could clearly care less/not provide adequate training, it makes it hard to stay. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for employment. I have never been so mentally and emotionally stressed, and felt like no one in the office cared if you succeeded or failed. After all, everyone is replaceable."
