Shriners Hospitals for Children Employee

"Shriners is all about the children. Their mission is to help, regardless of financial abilities of the family. The employees are in the trenches ready to fight on with the kids to achieve the best for each one. Some of the finest people work there, great minds (and hearts) in the medical field. My only hang up with be on the upper tier management. The home office and the Shriners (men in the red hats). While they employ the finest in the medical field, making sure that top brass understand how hospitals should be run can sometimes be tricky."

"I also have experience with the design and creation process of prosthetic limbs for children during an internship at Shiners Hospital in St. Louis. Each project was different from the last and gave me an opportunity to develop skill using CAD and other 3D design software’s. This internship was great at teaching interpersonal skills, working in a team environment, and completing projects."
