"Shopbop has inherited the culture of their parent company, Amazon. Amazon believes that everyone is a leader, and everyone is empowered to make big decisions.However, when everyone's opinion is heard at the table, it's not unusual to spend far more time than necessary discussing all the various opinions. Shopbop is as prone to changing requirements as any other position I've been in, but when it does happen it's discussed and addressed out in the open, which is a great contrast to others."

What do you like about working at Shopbop?
"Most of the people that are still here but I truly miss the original owners... and the way things used to be... the old shopbop culture. Work hard, play hard... all the while having fun."

"Good luck, you'll need to have in with someone high up or really have to kiss butt."
What don't you like about working at Shopbop?
"What amazon has done... Corporate setting at it's worst and the people who run this place now are real jokes."

"Reward harding working employees. Work on communication. Quit with the politics."
