"Entirely too many touches for a file to close on time. Originators are expected to do everything. Underwriters won't accept a file if it's missing anything, even if they aren't busy. They lied to me in the beginning (said most people are doing 5 loans per month when only 3 or 4 out of 15 have ever done 5, 1 or 2 are doing 3 and the rest struggle to do 1 per month). I knew I should walk away, but I thought more highly of myself than I should (the Achilles heel of sales people). My advice: RUN."
