"Not a women-friendly workplace in recent years after the management changed. The POSH committee is just forsaken. I was part of a support function in serving and when I joined the team it was effective, well balanced and both men and women were equally treated. In mid of 2019, we got a new HOD and everything changed from there. He looked very soft and silent during the initial days but gradually the way he treated womens individually in the team was really bad. He hired a writer who was also like him. The way he looked at us and the type of conversation he spoke were unbearable and he was behind each one of us. Some of us took it to the notice of HOD and he just laughed at us and no action was taken. He was enjoying all that happenings. In the meantime two among us gave their resignation. As a next step, some of us took it to the chief HR. No action was taken. As a last attempt, we discussed with a serving POSH committee member. But no use. finally, we also resigned. Within seven months since the new HOD and writer joined all the women in the team resigned and flushed out. Our positions where filled with mens and now it is a no women team. Proof for all these are in HR records. From the records it is easy to find the support function HOD who joined in mid 2019 and the number of womens in the team who left since he joined. I recently found that the HOD was pushed to leave in his previous company also. With the help of some good people in HR and consultant I came to know that there are lots of gaps inbetween his previous experiences as well. And he has hidden a company he worked for before servion as he worked there for only few weeks. He has cleverly patched it all in online professional network sites after joining servion. HR team should once again do a proper background verification. ADVICE TO MANAGEMENT. Do a proper background verification while hiring for leadership roles and make sure to treat women employees properly."
