"It's a very good position with lots of freedom and you get to meet some great people in this position while building solid experience and expertise. The knowledge received from this position can be used for multiple positions. I think the worst thing about this position is the relative downtime but overall it is a great position and the money is good as well."

"Nothing. I was always taken care of and notified on any changes or important topics."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None. My manager was great in that he did not interfere with the work we were doing overseas."

"It can be a great place to work, but it can also be frustrating."
What don't you like about working at MSC Software?
"Aside from getting laid off, I think that the repercussions of previous senior management created a pretty big obstacle to overcome - mostly because their long term strategy seemed to keep changing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Now that MSC is a private company under Symphony, invest the time needed to make the product line more robust. Don't release features until they are complete and tested by the field (and some customer beta testers)."
