"They ignored good performers over 'political appointees'. It's still a very old-school company run by people stuck in the regulated telecom age."

"When you are a good consultant, Oracle will move you around from one project crisis to another. There is rarely a chance to follow the complete project through to gain a sense of end-to-end achievement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Draw a dependable consulting relationship with the customer with a good consultant fit in the beginning. Work with the consultant to achieve trusting customer relationships. Switching out consultants promotes dis-trust with the customer."
