"The empowerment and autonomy AT&T gave its employees."

"Treat your employees the way you'd want to be treated if the roles were reversed. Be flexible and have fun with your employees. Employees work better and are more productive when they're in a stress free environment."

"Freedom to execute your own work and to have your peers provide additional perspectives and insights."

What don't you like about working at Alcatel-Lucent?

"There was nothing I did not like except for the fact that we were a highly functional R&D organization in and amongst a Unionized labor force. It was sometime difficult to implement change."
