"There is a lot of job security with working at Harrah's. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best place to work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There is a phone interview, an in person panel and then a 3-5 hour computer computer exam."
What don't you like about working at Harrah's Entertainment?
"Disconnection. There are a lot of groups that don't talk to each enough. Also the majority of the software we use isn't home grown."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Too much overhead and not enough developers. There seems to be too many politics going on here."
What do you like about working at Victory Packaging?
"Office environment; good computer systems; generous bonus opportunity; pay raises have been good; staying on technology forefront; flexible schedule."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"A very sales-focused company. IT runs lean and mean. Make sure you can handle 98 mph fastballs once in while."
What don't you like about working at Victory Packaging?
"Tough commute to Houston inside the Loop. Immediate manager is not very good at managing, people skills."

"Be careful that managers are good at managing. Keep up annual training, workshops both on technical and personal topics."

"To be honest, I didn't like the atmosphere there. I left my job at UPS to pursue an opportunity there, and realized it was a mistake within 6 months. The culture was not very conducive to a productive work environment."
