"Starting off as webmaster and lead developer, I transitioned into media buying and business development. The opportunity to grow my skillset was the greatest gift that Jordan Publishing Corp. afforded me."

"It's a shame that Jordan Publishing Corp is no more, many good people who were very talented lost creative jobs."
What don't you like about working at Jordan Publishing?
"The owner of the company and my self sought different directions after 10 years. His direction resulted in the company shuttering."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Balance is a key asset to management, it saddens me that balance was not considered much by management."

"This company hired me out of NYC with expectations of working there 5years. I was laid off in 9months after moving an re-locating for this company. I was very displeased with the overall false expectations I was given when I first took this position and made a move from Long Island to Pearl River NY."
What do you like about working at Active International?
"I never worked with a barter company so the experience learning barter and trade credits were a great opportunity to help broaden my background."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Add a clause on a contract in case you are laid off where a compensation package is offered as opposed to you signing a contract at will."
What don't you like about working at Active International?
"False interview highlights about the company. No mention of re-structuring was mentioned or I would have considered differently taking this position since I was laid off with 20 other employees after deciding to move out of city for this company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Because this company was family owned I think coporate ethics are important for any company to have training courses for upper management. I have certificates in corporate ethics and policy and procedures were quite different based on non experience of other employess in comparison to those employees with prior agency experience."

"The Media Dept was a well oiled machine. The people I worked with were hard workers, but we also had fun together. We also supported one another and always helped out each other when needed."

"Evaluate client list. They have lost alot of business due to the economy"

"There was limited upward mobility in the Department."

"this is only a good company for those just starting out in the business world...however you must have thick skin and be able to work with absolutely no direction....even when it's necessary."
