"The politics, the in fighting, the bus driving, the lack of water, the top heavy nature"

"Get tooling and water for your employees, listen to the shop people,"

"Mostly the people: Otis/UTC was a huge global organization that always presented new challenges - it was never boring."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be honest: Otis does not discriminate, but you may end up in the wrong spot if you're too soft."
What don't you like about working at Otis Elevator?
"Otis decided to send me to China to start a new department, replacing the German company that I came from. I had a moral conflict with that and left."

"Dan Rush was great to work for: stay like that!"

"Lockheed Martin, peviously Sippican, Inc. is a very comfortable place to work."
What do you like about working at Lockheed Martin?
"The facility in Marion is top notch, almost on the water and the people are extremely nice. The work can be challenging but interesting."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Great employer for people right out of college. I never interviewed with them though and am not familiar with the process."
What don't you like about working at Lockheed Martin?
"After Lockheed Martin took over Sippican the management style changed and the type of contracts that were bid typically involved very little development as they were essentially build to print. Thus the need for engineering support dwindled and the work that remained was mostly support to manufacturing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Not sure I'm in a position to suggest anything but I feel that Lockheed Martin ignored the Sippican engineering staff's expertise in taking small development contracts into production, instead focusing on large production contracts that ultimately the Marion facility was not equipped to handle."

"People at the company are straight shooters, so lay out your answer straight too."
What don't you like about working at QuickSet?
"I liked it. The orders slowed down and I was laid off."

"Better vision of what to do next. For the past 3 years, we were stagnant."
