"If you like politics, backstabbing while leaving a blood trail in your career path, you should consider working for Eli Lilly-PR."
What don't you like about working at Eli Lilly and Co.?
"Direct supervisors do not devise a clear career path, specially if you could become a professional challenge later in their career. This includes HR. Performance evaluation program is not based in meeting your goals, rather in the appreciation of what your supervisor thinks you should have done different. Mentoring was non existent. Bureaucracy dominates the decision making process instead of empowering employees to pursue the best solution possible for the issues. Too many people to do the same job. Everybody knew who was the under performer but nobody wanted to take action, confront and solve the issue through the channels."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Manage by walking. Leave their desks and go to the floor. Listen to employees, respect their opinions and diversity. Enforce confidentiality for sensitive issues."

"Projects were put in place right before the regulatory agency visited, then the budgets were canceled as soon as the regulators left."

"Follow through. Really do what you promise the regulators, the employees, and the neighborhood what you said you would do. It's not like nuclear power plants don't make any money."

"Be sure you want to work in an independent environment with little overhead support. You are the main expert and must stay that way on your own."

"Some management personnel not that in tune with the technical nature of the EFI Global's main business, and short on providng support. May experienced personnel have left due to management attitudes."

"- lower expectation in the company- do not work in the London or New-York office: you will lose most of you pay"
What don't you like about working at CD-adapco?
"- the favoritism in pay towards certain people: the pay scale is totally illogical and nonsensical- the top management brags about having new cars, new expensive watch, etc... are not humble people and do not work much or efficiently- the decisions are not made on a fact-based methodology. It is totally disgraceful- the people will the technical knowledge are not valued- unfair or uneven priviledges towards people who have not a good technical knowledge but look nice"

"- resign: you have no place in an engineering related company- change location from London and New-York, the people who work hard and decently in the company are the ones who commute the most and have a really hard and unpleasant living."
