"Supervisors understand importance of techincal savvy and will stress this in interviews. Need to show good communication skills and ability to positively represent company in front of a customer if needed."

"Management has lost site of importance of technical community with downturn and focus on survival."

"Need to get back to engineering focused company which will drive longterm strong growth and success."

"After working so hard rare chance to get good compensation and promotion. This problem happened after merger, earlier with Alcatel this kind of problem not there."

"Please take care of your junior staff, engineer and senior engineer because they are giving hard work to company from gross route for continued success of company without taking care the geographical situation, even working in day and night and not good environment condition."

"It gives good opportunity to work on your own, take initiatives and ownership of tasks and competence building."

"Senior Management is making it friends and family company, where personal relations matter more than competence and producing results."

"Too much turnover due to acquisitions and layoffs were common, leaving people in constant fear."

"The company was acquired by IBM so it no longer exists. If it existed I would consider working there again."

"Oracle benefits are great and the experience at Oracle depends upon your management chain. The company produces great results, though those of us in the top 80% hardly get much reward, less than that, get nothing, lots of hard work, mostly unrewarded."

"I was my own boss and ran my department on cost engineering. I made recommendations for change too reduce costs spending on projects."

"It is a great company to work for. You have to show that you are a self starter and proactive. Jacobs needs people who take initiative."

"I am sure management does everything to obtain projects, if they can keep projects work consistent and provide feeling of stability to the staff, will greatly help with the morale."
