"the bureacracy of dealing with an international based company. Business culture differences"

"US management is weak, there are people in business development that should be delivery only. Lost focus on industry expertise."

"Get Biz Dev professionals doing Biz Dev, not delivery people."

"There are no career paths, no opportunities and no repercussions for those that don't perform, meaning that there is little motivation for those that do."

"From a personal perspective, I did not like the way the Korean management team treated me or the other Americans working in NJ."

What do you like about working at Mohawk Industries?
"Freedom to tackle interesting projects, team members were great. Decent Personal Freedom. There are some really great people at all levels."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Glad I worked there, but glad I left. Pass on Mohawk if you have a choice. They chew up and spit out people way too fast. Turnover is amazing in some areas. Recognition of work is hit or miss. Few minorities. Much discrimination below the radar for race, age, etc. Women get treated passably well."
What don't you like about working at Mohawk Industries?
"CEO creates sense of insecurity everywhere. Turnover is disturbingly high. They try too hard to save on healthcare and spend too little on employee environments. Office usually are fair at best, awful at worst. Plants are brutally hot."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Value people. Make pay fair, make healthcare better not cheaper. You come off as greedy and only caring about this quarter's money. Enforce regulations and policies fairly without bias. End nepotism."
What do you like about working at Asurion?
"Growing business with tons of opportunities to grow professionally. High expectations but rewarded when you are successful."

"Understand the company and what we do. We are private so not as easy as getting an analyst report. Ask people!!!"

"The expectations are very high and we keep meeting them, which means the bar keeps going up."

"More communication to the working team. We have lots of successes as a company but don't always hear about them."

"All the technology developed is being commoditized - they need to have long term plans. One of the areas they are investing is 60G wireless technology - need better planning to succeed in this area."
