  "Being a distributed team had it's challenges, but everyone did their part to make that as painless as possible. We had well-established practices to maximize efficiency and make sure we were building the best, most stable products we could. When I first started at NodeFly, before the acquisition by StrongLoop, the code was a bit hackish, but it was typical prototype hackish and they fully acknowledged it. When better ways were suggested to do things, they were completely open to the new ideas."

It’s more secure today, but that means you have to keep up with new technologies all the time. I like doing that, but it is a treadmill."
