"Great Folks working there. Many knowledgeable peopleFree CoffeeGym in the Building to be used free of ChargeCafeteria ($$)"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't if you have other options.Company Policy is No work from home- During core hours that is...you're free to work all night at home...If you're lucky your manager will go against the grain...ALWAYS keep EVERYTHING in writing!Tuition Reimbursement is sparse ($3000/ yr) Health Coverage is very good - But you will need it."

What don't you like about working at Aspen Technology?

"Top Down Management style- leaves even Managers incapable of making decisions for raises and promotions.The people that are quiet and work hard are overlooked while the people that deliver slop and are constantly out Sick get promoted...Human Resources is more like Hired People to protect the Company from the Human Resources with most people in that department incredibly unpleasant.- Especially the SVP- Just walking into the office you can see on her face that she is dreading it every day...People stealing your Lunch out of the refrigeratorThe parking lot is so tight that no car goes undamaged for long"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Implement a Career Growth Program- your employee turnover might just stay near height of the recession lows. People are UNHAPPY as their Managers work ridiculous hours and therefore expect the same from their team...this calculation only works if you are paid OT not a Salary...Why are people e-mailing at 11pm at nightOr 2am like my old Manager"
