"There was nothing that I did not like about working for Camp Harlow."

"You have to have a lot of energy to keep up with all the kids."

What do you like about working at Camp Sancta Maria?

"It is a really fun job to work at CSM."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Catholic Summer camp. You don't need to be religious, but be prepared to attend mass/chapel twice per day. You should also have solid values so if you plan on drinking or anything of that nature this probably isn't the job for you."

What don't you like about working at Camp Sancta Maria?

"The boss had too much on his plate and not enough money to play with so the job wasn't that good."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest charging way more for attendance. $600 for two whole weeks of room and board and also all the activities that people have the opportunity to do at camp cost much more than that. This would allow camp to upgrade their facilities and make the old cabins look liveable."

What do you like about working at Youth Villages?

"I somewhat enjoyed working with the families, and seeing how they made improvements in parenting"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I do believe that working for youth villages in TN might be a better experience. If you applying for a job in NC at youth villages DON'T. The interview process is very misleading, and I promise it will be the wrong decision."

What don't you like about working at Youth Villages?

"there is very little to no appriciation for the hard work put into the job. Expectations are to great to fit into a work week resulting in 16 hour days, and weekend work. Employees are not valued and are treated horrible. Working for youth villages is stressful, and allows no time for self."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Start caring and respecting the work counselors do. working long days and weekends with no sign of appriciation causes for a miserable work experience. Management in NC come accross as rude, disrespectful, and caring to the needs and concerns of their employees."
