Senior Cost Analyst at CEI
in Washington, DC

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"A great company to start out with, but it needs some work"

What do you like about working at CEI?

"Working for a small company provided a fast track for my career. Plenty of opportunities and 100% face time with all clients involved in my work. Management needs a boost as the company had become complacent. Missed opportunities, better salary, and a need for change were my reasons for leaving."

What don't you like about working at CEI?

"Management was nearsighted in respect to building the business; salaries were not comparable with other firms in the area; micromanagement ran rampant; management was unwilling to adjust for the betterment of the firm as a whole."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Become more open to change; be willing to spread out amongst the other clients for possible opportunities; be prepared to pitch for new business; allow managers to speak on behalf of the company; make salaries more competitive; less micromanaging."
