"I loved the people and the stability"

"Respect your employees"

"The benefits package, but do not confuse that with salary. Specifically the health and retirement options."

"DON'T!"
What don't you like about working at Farmers?
"Management does not care about their employees. Management is so concerned with looking good on paper that the job loses its importance. They have too many meetings and still expect their work load to be completed. It is a hostile work environment."
What do you like about working at Travelers?
"I had lots of opportunities and did take advantage by attending various training seminars in order to become a more skilled/competent Claim Adjuster."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Learn as much as you can about the company and decide if they're right for you."
What don't you like about working at Travelers?
"I cannot recall having anything significant that I did not like about working at Travelers. I left because,at the time, management was undergoing a transition (cut backs, loss of business) and I found a better opportunity elsewhere."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think Travelers has rebounded OK. I believe they are back in the Personal Lines business once again."
What do you like about working at State Farm Insurance?
"I like the flexibility, and interacting with people."
What don't you like about working at State Farm Insurance?
"I dislike interacting with irate customers."

"They need to implement more lean process management."

"The flexible hours."

"Management."

What do you like about working at Bristol West Insurance Group?
"My coworkers made the experience. We had a small office and got along wonderfully. We helped each other, laughed and made work a better place to be."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Keep in mind that in the insurance industry, volume is not something that can be helped. Each company will have likely give you a high pending. What it comes down to is the people you work with and for. That makes all the difference."
What don't you like about working at Bristol West Insurance Group?
"Work / life balance is something that could be improved upon. Hours were too long and part-time or flex schedules were not an option."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management was wonderful, fair and understanding. My manager was amazing and I don't know that I would ever be able to work for someone like him again - one of a kind!"

"Profit sharing."

"Hours."

"At the time of employment, they demanded 72 hrs + of weekly employment."
What do you like about working at Farmers?
"I loved this company and the job but they just overworked the insurance reps."
What don't you like about working at Farmers?
"I usually came into the office at 7 am and quit working on calling claims around 10:00 pm."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Since I left, Farmers was sued by the employees for overtime pay and won. Hopefully the hours are better there."
