What don't you like about working at Fluor?
"After returning from an audit assignment to Australia I was assigned to back to back audits to SaudI Arabia and Canada. I asked to have another Senior take one assignment so I could be home with family. My travel was over 60% the highest in our department. This was due to the company wanting the best on their international audits. Two other Seniors where unassigned at that time but I was told no other Seniors were available for the audits."

"To consider the balance of staff assignments."

"I worked for and with great people who believed in cultivating and grooming their employees to the next level."
What don't you like about working at Ford Motor?
"Ford Motor was a great company to work for but the the Van Dyke Plant management has a lot to be desired. Advancement beyond a certain level within the plant is almost nonexistant. There's a lot of Fast Trackers (nepitism) that get run through the plant into the upper management jobs until their sponsor can put them in a prefered corporate position. A lot of great people had to leave the plant and go to another Ford plant in order to get a promotion to the next level because the Van Dyke Plant doesn't promote their own."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Start looking at and recognizing the great talent you have within the plant. Promote the people that have worked there and made that facility the World Class operation it is."

"Good resources for technical development."

"Too many levels of management, very confusing management styles."

"Management needs to improve career promotion process and be more open to work life balance."
