"The opportunity to see results in a fast paced environment. The opportunity to implement much needed administration tools such as database backup strategy and webLogic application server monitoring, maintenance and implementation strategies and solutions."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"BU is a great place to work. Just make sure you have an offer in hand prior to starting."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My supervisor had 20 people under him when I started. Two months later, he was down to 0. It's not fair for me to comment much beyond that, in that obviously the University was going through a dramatic shake up in the IT department."
What do you like about working at Micad Marine?
"Even though my boss was extremely difficult to work for, (27 people through their office, a four person office in less than a year), I still thrived when it came to getting my work done. Although a constant battle, I looked at it as a challenge and enjoyed success. My biggest success was lasting a full year even though my boss ran the company into the ground."
What don't you like about working at Micad Marine?
"My boss was vile and abusive. After the first month, I literally kept track of how many times I heard the 'f' word everyday for a week. The highest was 104 times in one day! What a guy!"
What don't you like about working at Craig Technologies?
"Split between getting the accomplishing job completion and satisfying the contract. We were the subcontractor."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"We could have used more interaction from the regional manager. I had to contact CEO."

"management is working towards a cohesive process management,but they are not there yet. Continue down the right path."

"Little opportunity for permanent placement."

"Continue to be mindful to the situations of individual workers."
