"The territory that I had was huge and called for travel two weeks out of every month."

What do you like about working at Local Pages Publishing?
"Enjoyed the clients I served and the involvement with networking groups and community. Advertising Sales is always challenging which is something I enjoy and thrive off of."
What don't you like about working at Local Pages Publishing?
"Lack of Sales Force to handle all necessary responsibilities in order for the company to meet it's goals. Yellow Pages is an industry that has been declining due to technology. In order for a Publishing company to be successful, it is necessary to offer many other options to the advertiser, not just print."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that more time be spent directly in the field to understand the shift in this industry. Often a problem was presented followed by lack of solution or suggestions to perform the old way as it will always work. That just wasn't the case."

"After 6 years, I felt it was time to advance to the next level, where I had more new business opportunities and unlimited income potential if sucessful"

"The only downfall of working at Softmart was that there was not many opportunties to grow within the organization."

"The upper management is very fickle. They are selling, then they aren't. They are closing, then they aren't. It can be stressful."
