  "AMD is a good place to intern. You will certainly learn a lot, and if you are looking for it, you will get opportunities to take on lots of responsibility. The downside is you may not have much control in actually completing projects. Regardless, there are many experienced people to help you and teach you, but you will probably have to seek them out and humbly ask for their time and guidance unless you are blessed with a particularly hands-on mentor and manager.
