"SDI Media is like a failing startup; they work their employees as hard as possible with utmost expecatations but does not provide resources to meet expecatations. This is seen across the company, not only in IT, as employees are dissatisfied and burnt out."
"Told I was doing good work, then terminated!"
What do you like about working at SDI Media Group?
"The people who actually do the work were really nice. Everyone pulled together!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you get the job, don't ever make a mistake. Plan on giving every waking hour of you life away! Be ready to be called to the carpet on things you know nothing about. And possibly terminated for things that are not even under your departments care. They keep the people they like, not the people who try the hardest and improve the company. It's a popularity company. Good luck!"
What don't you like about working at SDI Media Group?
"There was no time for anything, upper management expects you to do 100 hours of work a week for the salaried 40 hours a week and then make you feel foolish if you don't get all the work done! They also promise time to train for what they need, but then do not allow for it! You must be able to walk on water, or you'll get terminated without notice!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Upper management needs to get their egos under control and pay the people who actually do the work 24/7 what they are worth. Not what you can get them to do for what little pay is offered!"
