"I had a company car and health insurance."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"RUN. If you can't run, keep looking for a position even after you're offered the job. Most reps in this company last less than two years - don't kid yourself into thinking that you'll be around longer."

What don't you like about working at Sciele Pharma?

"The incentive compensation plan is changed every few quarters and somehow always seems to be reduced. The starting salary is the lowest in the industry. Goals do not remain consistent, and marketing materials and support are nearly nonexistent. Territories are added and eliminated without regard to performance of reps."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus on products that can actually compete in a crowded marketplace, as opposed to reformulating the nth calcium channel blocker time and time and time again. Have your marketing teams develop strong brand messages. Raise your starting salary to industry standard. Consider representative performance when determining layoffs."
